A Naturally Peculiar Evening
STEVE HOGARTH and RANESTRANE
still together
Rome, Saturday 3rd February, 2024
Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone - Sala Sinopoli
Steve Hogarth, charismatic leader of the legendary band Marillion, will be the protagonist of an unmissable concert event, a unique date in Italy: he will perform in A Naturally Peculiar Evening Saturday 3 February 2023 in the Sinopoli Hall of the Auditorium Parco della Musica, together with Italian progressive rock band RanestRane.
Tickets are available in advance from 11:00 am on Thursday 14 September on Ticketone.it and in all authorized Ticketone sales points.
After a good eight years since his last live in Rome, also on that occasion supported by the group RanestRane - a show which subsequently also became a DVD production - Hogarth returns to the capital for a single Italian date, opportunity for great music fans to enter the eclectic world of an artist who has marked the history of international prog, celebrating over 40 years of history through a journey through the band's most iconic songs and retracing the successes of a rich and intense career. Hogarth has been the protagonist of memorable concerts on stages around the world, performing songs from the Marillion repertoire.
On stage he will be accompanied by the band RanestRane, who will play acoustic instruments such as harp, mandolin, harmonium and tablas, fusing their musical sensitivity with the magical voice of Steve Hogarth. Among the curiosities regarding the group, there is one linked to keyboardist Riccardo Romano, who is recording an album with Steve Rothery and Steve Hackett.
Hogarth's solo show h Natural, undertaken for the first time in 2006, was born from the idea of creating an intimate and engaging experience between audience and performer , between which there are no longer barriers. The varied lineup ranges from the best ofs of Marillion's repertoire, to the interpretation of the hits of the greatest and most iconic artists, such as David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Simon and Garfunkel, The Waterboys and many others; all with Hogarth's touch of typically English humour.
One soul. One mind. One heart.
Steve Hogarth says:
"It’s with great pleasure that I can announce a return to Rome on Saturday 3 February 2024, to make another show - solo, and accompanied by local Romans, RanestRane, in an attempt to revisit the chemistry we had together last time in September 2015 (which can be witnessed on the DVD “Friends Romans” available at Racket Records).
In England we have a saying “When in Rome… find yourself an amazing Italian band and gig with ‘em”
I hope you can make it.
